Kia have released advance model launch information for the all-new Kia Picanto 5-door.
Following its unveiling earlier this year at the Geneva Motorshow in March the all-new Picanto has been re-designed and re-engineered with stand-out styling and is destined to be a highly competitive newcomer in the A-segment as the ‘small car grown up’.
As previously published, the launch of the full range of new Picanto 5-door 5-seat model will feature the familiar 1, 2, 3 grade structure and will offer two brand new Kappa petrol engines. The first is a 1-litre CVVT 3-cylinder engine with 68 bhp mated with a 5-speed manual transmission and the second is a 1.25 CVVT 4-cylinder engine with 84 bhp mated with a 5-speed Manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
Also available with the Picanto line up is Kia’s fuel-stretching EcoDynamics (which includes Intelligent Stop – and – Go) technology, cutting emissions so that every model is £0 VED for the first year and three out of five models in the line up are London congestion charge exempt. Exhaust emissions have been significantly reduced, so that CO2 emissions range from 99 to 125 g/km.
The new Picanto 5-door model is a highly equipped, luxurious model with many innovative technological features, all offered at a compelling price combined with a pioneering 7 Year Warranty.
