The Kia Picanto is one of the best cars for retaining second hand residual value.
According to Parkers, the biggest online car guide, the Picanto has the lowest depreciation in the first year of ownership losing just £1,247. This is aided by the 7-year warranty, which is fully transferable, a high level of specification as standard and more importantly, aggressive pricing.
It’s stablemate the Rio came in second with both cars exceeding sales expectations in 2010, despite the end of the Governments scrappage scheme, which saw Kia post one of their best ever sales records.
Kia posted the 1st official images of the all new Picanto which is due to go on sale in Spring. The new model will take on a radically different design to the one we’ve come to know and love and is the brain child of Kia’s Chief Design Officer Peter Schreyer.
